ESLR Check
I've been an effective learner by applying what I learned in real life. For example, in my senior project I learned different methods of teaching and how to break math down. I apply this every time I tutor someone in any subject. For example, I like to use the EDGE method (explain demonstrate guide and enable) to explain math. I explain the concepts behind the equations, demonstrate how to do it, walk them through it, and then watch them do it without assistance to see if they have mastered the concept. To be better at what I do in this field, I need more experience in it. To get more experience, I simply need to find people who are willing to be helped.
